AI for Dev and Prod

Niro reviews the code, maps the blast radius and runs RCA, on the AI assistant you already run.

Solving the context and reliability crisis in software engineering

AI now writes a large and growing share of new production code. Trust hasn't kept pace. This is why we exist.

Catching what AI gets wrong before it ships

Coding agents guess at what a codebase permits. We give them ground truth instead, so a wrong guess gets caught before it merges.

Making advanced AI economically viable for engineering teams

Unverified AI output is expensive to clean up after. We make the agents you already use faster and cheaper to trust.

Finding the real root cause when production breaks

When something goes wrong, Niro traces the actual causal path through code, config, and deployment, not a plausible-sounding guess.

Query every repo
as one graph

Every repo, class, function and call is a node. Run a query and watch Niro walk the edges, deterministically, across service boundaries.

Root cause analysis for production alerts

A team of Niro agents investigates in parallel on the graph and hands you the high-confidence causes, with the evidence chain behind each one.

Can't the AI just retry until it gets there?

Yes, and 8 of 19 retried queries never got there at all. Retries can't see a dependency that was never in the files they read.

FAQ

What exactly is Niro?

Niro parses every repository into one semantic graph (symbols, calls, config, data resources and events) and answers structural questions on that graph instead of reading files. Three things run on top of it. Your engineers query the graph directly from the CLI. Your agents reach the same graph as 35 tools over MCP, with no per-tool wiring. And Niro's own agents use it to review pull requests and to investigate production incidents. One index, one set of facts, every consumer reading the same thing.

Is this not just semantic code search?

Search ranks text by resemblance. Niro resolves relationships at AST depth: callers, callees, imports, inheritance, HTTP endpoints, data resources, message queues and config keys are edges on a graph, so a question about structure has an answer rather than a ranked guess. A call that crosses a service boundary is an edge like any other, which is the part no amount of searching one checkout can reach.

Does my code leave my machine?

That is your decision, not ours. Local mode (coming soon) indexes and answers on your own machine and can use your own model key. Managed uploads source over multipart so we can index it. Your own VPC, self-hosted and air-gapped keep everything inside your network. In every shape, source moves over multipart and is never written to logs.

Which agents and which languages?

Thirteen MCP clients, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI and Antigravity, plus anything else that speaks MCP. Nine languages are parsed: Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, C#, Kotlin, PHP and Ruby.

How long until it is useful?

One npx command, one sign-in, one folder. Node 18 or newer is the only prerequisite. After that the graph re-indexes incrementally as files change, so there is no nightly rebuild to wait on and no full re-index to schedule.

What happens on a branch you have not indexed?

Niro refuses to answer, and says so. Every question routes to the project covering your repo and current branch; on a branch no project covers it offers to build a temporary project rather than answering from stale code. A confidently wrong answer is the expensive kind.
